Michael Beane and his related companies have been at the center of the turf protection sales and rental industry in the United States. Beginning in 1994 with the first sale of Terraplas in the United States to Foxboro Stadium (now Gillette Stadium), the Terraplas name has been the standard in the high-end turf protection business.
Since 1994 Terraplas North America (sales) and Terraplas USA (rentals) have worked together to create a coordinated market strategy that has allowed Terraplas product owners to make ancillary income by renting their product through the Terraplas USA rental program.
In 2007, Covermaster, inc., a sales and marketing partner was added to the Terraplas network. Between the Terraplas and Covermaster, they service the vast majority of all of the Major League Baseball, Minor League Baseball and NFL stadiums and teams.
Worldwide, 6,500,000 sq ft of Terraplas products have been sold with 1,500,000 of that amount in the US. Today Terraplas USA Rentals has access to over 1,000,000 sq ft of Terraplas products for both natural grass and synthetic turf application.
